PREVENTING LAG

- More parts mean more lag, lower fps and longer load times when you or other players fly into range of your base.

- Use the 4-high or 12-high walls as much as possible to reduce part count.

- Do not build YUGE bases if you do not need them.

- Only roof the parts you do not want people/dinos to get into (like your hatching area)

WATER & ELECTRICITY

S+/SS has some improvements over vanilla to help you get water/power to the structures that require them and not have a fugly base with things sticking out in the air.

- Metal pipes and electrical wires will snap inside S+/SS foundations, ceilings, pillars and walls without them being visible or requiring alignment. Use the pipes/wires with the white T/S/W/P letters in the engram.

- Structures that are snapped together with pipes/wires will automatically connect to one-another

- The S+/SS Generator will snap to the square foundation/ceiling and connect to any wires inside. Note that the wires need to be placed inside the foundation before placing the generator.

- Electrical outlets and water taps will snap to the ends of wires/pipes placed in foundations/ceilings.

- The S+/SS Electrical Outlet has an option to disable the sparks and hide any wires so that you can have a cleaner, less annoying build

IRRIGATING KEGS AND COOKERS

To have the S+/SS Beer Keg and Industrial Cooker be irrigated, do the following:

- Place square foundations: 2-3 wide for the Industrial Cooker, just 1 for each Beer Keg

- Place the S+/SS metal pipe for square foundation and snap it inside the foundations you just placed.

- If the foundations are not yet connected to a building that already has irrigation, place a water intake and any side of the foundations you just placed. The intake does not need to touch or be near water, it will produce water wherever it is placed on the map.

- Check that the foundations shows a blue water drop (white means pipes are present, blue means it is irrigated).

- Once the foundations are irrigated, place the Beer Keg or Industrial Cooker on top so it snaps.

- All done!
