TIPS & TRICKS

[Legion]

1.) Find a reward vault on Ragnarok/Valguero at any of the Obis or the community centers to claim your starter kits and rewards. You can also craft the reward vault at level 5 and place it in your own base for easy access.

2.) For Wyvern there is a WyvernStone you can craft which adds 15 armor to your wyvern as if it were a saddle. You can also loot higher grades in loot drops.

3.) Achatinas (snails) make a paste that has the same use as Cementing Paste. Tame some and have your own paste factory. They only eat veggie cakes, so best to put all levels into food in case the cakes run out for a day or two. Levels have no effect on paste production. Must be on wandering to produce, use a hitching post or prison cage.

4.) Dung Beetles will turn poop into fertilizer and do not need a constant of thatch. One will make enough fertilizer for a large base. Put all levels into Weight so it can still wander with a full load of fertilizer. Must be on wander to produce fertilizer, use a hitching post or prison cage.

5.) Ovis are a source for Raw Mutton and Pelt when slaughtered, but you can keep them and harvest wool from them using the scissors. Put all levels into Food for wool/pelt, level Health for extra mutton.

6.) If you have a new flyer and the movement speed does not allow leveling, the server needs to reboot in order to convert it into a Classic Flyer. Our server reboots once a day at 10:00 GMT+1 (CET).

7.) There are public teleporters placed across the map. Use them to your advantage.

8.) The bazaar at the Ragnarok canyon bridge (teleporter) has a reward vault to collect your starter kit or claim rewards. There is also free food and drinks in the fridges, and a container with free items donated by all our players.

9.) Build the Auction items (5 items) so you can trade anything with fellow players. Gear, blueprints, resources, dinos, fertilized eggs.

10.) Cooked meats last longer and have higher food values. Use these in your troughs to have it last longer. You only need raw mutton for taming purposes until you can make kibbles.

11.) If you rename an S+ storage and start the name with a * then that storage will not have resource pulled from it for recipes



Cross-Ark Travel

Travel between servers may cause the game to give a Reliable Outgoing Buffer Overflow error. This is not a bug, it's an Ark feature™ and is caused by the number of items your are carrying, including dino stats in your cryopods and even the number of Engrams you have unlocked. As we use a mod to unlock all engrams once you reach a level, that means you have a LOT of engrams being transported with you.

To minimize game crashes, please put all your items into the ARK Data section before you travel to another server. This will greatly reduce the character data the game will process once you spawn in on the other map, and will most likely prevent the error from occurring. Yes, this is a hassle, but there is no other fix at the moment.



PRO-TIP: SKINS

For people that like the skins but have not  unlocked them all yet....  Install EZAce in single player, craft the different unlock potions and consume them. What you unlock on single-player will also be active in multiplayer.
